July starts a new era at Sunshine Eye Clinic with the addition of Dr. Wesley Rushing.
Dr. Rushing is a Missouri native and a 2015 graduate of Seymour High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Missouri State University in 2019 and his Doctorate of Optometry from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2023. Dr. Rushing is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Missouri Optometric Association.
When asked what his favorite things are to do, he said spending time with his wife and new baby girl. He also enjoys Cardinals baseball, camping and biking.
Dr. Rushing will join our team in late July and is looking forward to becoming part of the Sunshine Eye Clinic family.

Sunshine Eye Clinic is bringing back an American classic, sunglasses by AO. American Optical was established in 1833 and has produced some of the most iconic eyewear in history. Worn by presidents, pilots and movie stars, AO sunglasses are still made in the USA today.
